Now Fresh Grain-Free Dry Dog and Cat Food | #chewyinfluencer

In case you're new here and didn't already know, Venus, Mittens, and myself are part of the Chewy Influencer program, which means each month Venus gets to try something new that Chewy has to offer in their online store. Chewy.com has a wide variety of pet food ranging from wet to dry to raw to freeze dried, as well as treats, toys, and other pet supplies for cats, dogs, and more!

For the month of October our family was given the opportunity to try out the Now Fresh Grain-Free Dry Dog Food. Of the varieties available, we received the Senior Weight Management Recipe for our dog, Venus, to try.

Please note that this item is a press sample, received in exchange for an honest review. This does not in any way influence my opinion of this product, but something I want to mention just so my readers are aware.

For our trial we received one 6 pound bag of dry dog food. I was impressed to see a hook-and-loop strip across the top of the bag for easy opening and closing. We typically use a clothespin on pet food bags and this made it not only easier to keep fresh but less messy for the bag.

Now Fresh offers a large variety of both dog and cat food on Chewy.com - there are wet and dry food options, and all are grain free. We chose the Senior Weight Management option because Venus is overweight, and turned 10 years old this year.

Venus is missing a few teeth in her older age (she unfortunately loves to chew more than she should) but she had absolutely no issue at all chewing these bits of kibble! They are perfectly sized for her at 20 pounds, and she seemed to really enjoy the flavor in this variety as well.

Thank you Chewy for allowing us the chance to try this out!
